BRIEF
This was a live project to design a special edition book jacket for Influx Press’ publication Hold Tight, by Jeffrey Boakye. The book exposed the history and relevance of the British music genre: grime.
RESPONSE
An energetic subversion of the stereotypical connotation of grime which is often underestimated and hidden beneath the strong surface. The handwriting brings the analogue aspect of early grime.
